Judge: Scream all you want, kids! No jail for parents in pool noise case.
The complaints of kids yelling in the family pool fell on deaf ears Wednesday night when Bayville's acting village justice dismissed a summons accusing the girls' parents, William and Rachel Poczatek, of violating a village noise ordinance. Poczatek said he was shocked when he and his wife were slapped with a summons.

Residential Soundproofing Contract Okayed for Work Near LAX
The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today awarded a contract to AMD construction Group of theCity of Orange for a portion of the Los Angeles International Airport's(LAX) Residential Soundproofing Program. The $2,545,400 contract covers sound insulation modifications on a total of 174 dwelling units at 8655Belford Avenue, a condominium complex known as Madrid Apartments in Westchester.
